Roscoe Betsill | FOOD AND PRODUCT STYLIST

Whenever there were enticing smells emanating from his family kitchen or from the backyard when his dad was at the grill, little Roscoe was there starting to learn the skills that would lead him to become a food professional.

He earned a degree in Communications from Northwestern University.

He then went on to start his formal culinary training at La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine in Paris and was awarded the Grande Diplôme.

He currently divides his time between New York City and the Hudson Valley and works primarily as a Food and Drink Stylist, Tabletop Prop Stylist, Writer and Recipe Developer. 

His food has graced the covers and pages of magazines such as Food and Wine, Bon Appétit, Vogue, and Field & Stream. He has styled ad campaigns and packaging for Viking Kitchens, Godiva Chocolates, and The Wine Spectator. His styling talents are in full view in the James Beard Award nominated cookbook From Harlem to Heaven.
