Paul Connolly | SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

A significant part of Paul’s career has consisted of him working as a designer in marketing and advertising. Career highlights such as designing packages for the gourmet food industry allowed him to incorporate his love for illustration with his innate sense of whimsical humor.

These experiences have led him to such positions as lead art director for a NYC-based clothing brand, which continued to challenge him and expand his horizons so that his skill set is versatile and geared toward a range of client needs.

Secret Talent: My secret talents include being a trained pastry chef and a self-taught knitter.

Source of Inspiration: My source of inspiration is everything and anything. I find inspiration in all things, from candy wrappers to vintage ads to sunsets (as corny as that sounds).

Important Fact: I was a sheep farmer in Ireland for two years. The experience taught me one thing: the only limitations are the limitations i enforce on myself

Zen Place: My zen place is my family’s place on top of a mountain in the Catskills. It is peaceful, tranquil, and absolutely beautiful.
